Brenden has won awards for writing and directing comedy, drama and documentary films. He has worked at SBS-TV for 15 years, and small production house Classroom Video for 6 years before that. He has a BA (Mass Comm.) from Macquarie University. He has several comedy feature film scripts currently in development.
His latest film, A Quick Love Story, a short rom-com starring Andy Ryan (Love Child, INXS: Never Tear Us Apart) and Nicole Shostak (Diary of an Uber Driver, Home and Away) has won several awards, was selected for Australian Short Film Today and has screened in New York, Los Angeles, Cambria, Austin, Toronto, Lansing, Paris, St Tropez, Berlin, London, Sydney, Melbourne and Port Douglas
