“A Quick Love Story” runner-up in Hollywood!

A Quick Love Story was runner up in the Audience Award at the LA screening of the Australian Short Film Today program!

Held at Raleigh Studios on 30 October, the screening drew a good crowd of industry professionals and curious cinephiles.

It was a great night, made even better by the fact that the very talented Nicole Shostak was able to attend, and together we did a Q&A session along with and Alison James and Brooke Silcox, the director and producer respectively of “Judas Camel.”

While in LA I was lucky enough to spend time at Charlie’s, which gave me an opportunity to network with talented Aussie filmmakers in LA and also to work on my next masterpiece.

It was a truly wonderful experience – many thanks to everyone at Australian Short Film Today, Australians in Film and Screen NSW!
